This series of monoprints-monotypes was produced during the last year.  After years of exclusively painting, this was something I wanted to try to expand my creative options for expressing the recurring archetypal themes and motifs that continue to interest me: life cycles of growth, death and rebirth in nature and consciousness, the ancient feminine and her animal-human consorts, and elements from nature such as flowers, leaves, vines that are up close and personal, drawing me into their beautiful forms.
